Inspired by the festive tradition of studding oranges with cloves, our Pomander candle invites you to a moment of nostalgia. Citrus lovers will be captivated! Pomander offers a fruity and festive aroma of orange peel blended with the warmth of cloves, not forgetting the subtle aromas of tonka bean that gently soften the vibrant character of the citrus.

Our soy candles (non-GMO) are biodegradable and non-toxic. They do not release any toxins into the air when burning. Each candle will burn for approximately 20 hours; this longevity is due to the slower burning time and lower combustion temperature of soy wax.

To fully enjoy your Saponaria handcrafted candle, we recommend that the first time you burn it, you allow the candle to burn until all the wax on the surface is liquid, right up to the outer edges of the container (usually between 1.5 and 2 hours) before blowing it out. Soy wax has excellent memory; extinguishing it too soon will create a wax tunnel, and if you extinguish the wick before allowing a complete melt pool, all subsequent uses will never exceed the diameter of the first time.

Keeping your wick trimmed to about 1/4" before lighting prevents extra soot from sticking to the sides of your container. If your flame dances a lot, gets very high, or forms a "mushroom" on top, it's best to blow out your candle, trim the wick slightly, and relight it. It's also dangerous when flames get extremely high (even if it looks nice), especially if you're burning near other objects.

It is important to always burn your candle on a safe surface, as the container can become hot. Keep candles out of reach of children and pets. Finally, never leave a candle unattended or burning for more than 4 hours at a time.
